Installed at the discharge end of flat or trough belt conveyors, magnetic head rollers are designed to remove tramp iron and small pieces of iron that cannot be attracted using either an overband or plate magnet due to deep product depths.

Used in conjunction with the above mentioned units, head roller magnets will give you the best possible protection against tramp metals.

Eclipse Head Rollers are available in two strengths, standard strength for the removal of large pieces of tramp iron or high strength for the removing both large and small pieces of tramp.

The shafts of the roller can be machined to suit existing bearing detail ensuring ease of installation and minimal downtime.

Deep Ffield Chute Magnets

Housed deep field chute magnets are used for the removal of tramp iron, for example, nuts, bolts, washers and mill balls from gravity fed pipelines and chutes.

These 'Primary' magnets are installed in goods inwards points or mid process to prevent large pieces of contamination damaging expensive processing equipment.

One of the main benefits of incorporating this type of unit is that there is no restriction inside the unit enabling already established product flow rates to be maintained.

Magnetic grids are extremely efficient at removing fine iron contamination from dry free flowing powders and granulates

Contamination such as rust, stainless steel scrapings and wear from machinery are often too small to be detected by a metal detector, but is easily removed by these highly efficient grids.

The product flows throught the grid. Any contamination is immediately attracted to the grid's powerful magnetic rods. The contamination is pushed to undersides of the rods, where it is securely held, out of the way of the wash-off effects of continuous product flow.

The grids require no power and no maintenance (except for cleaning) and are quick and easy to install. Once the grid is in position you know it's working.

Grids are available in a vast range of standard sizes and 3 magnet strengths (standard for coarse ferrous contamination, high and super-high for micron sized and para-magnetic contamination).

We also supply custom designed and engineered grids to suit your specific requirements.

Magnetic liquid filters are designed to remove micron sized ferrous and para-magnetic contamination from various types of liquids.

A matrix of Easy Clean rods containing high intensity rare earth neodymium iron boron magnets are housed within a stainless steel vessel.

The magnetic configuration ensures maximum exposure of contamination to the high intensity rods without impeding liquid flow.

Filters are available in two versions, single wall and double wall jacketed. Jacketed filters are used in heated pipeline applications where temperature is critical to the product viscosity, for example, chocolate, syrups, jams and sauces. Both these versions are tested and certified to operate at pressures up to 6 bar as standard, designs capable of working at 20 bar are available on request.

Placed above flat or trough type conveyors, large permanent magnetic packs generate deep penetrating magnetic flux fields that attract and remove tramp steel items from conveyed products.

A rubber belt is driven around two rollers with the magnetic pack positioned in the centre. Ferrous items are attracted by the magnet to the belt's face and carried over and past the magnetic area until the contamination is deposited into a collection bin or skip.

These units can be supplied with either an electric or hydraulic drive unit for mobile machinery and are ideally suited for continuous use, where processing stops infrequently or for heavily contaminated products.
